Group Profile

After customers are added to the group, and a valid Profile is set up, it is ready for use. A Group Profile needs to be created for the Auto Sentry and also one for the Point of Sale (POS) from the Configuration menu.

Profiles activate the devices the Customer Group profile is in order to give customers assigned to the Customer Groups the same services.

To set up a Profile for a Customer Group for an Auto Sentry, follow these steps:

  1. From the Configuration menu, click Goods and Services, and the click Profiles.

The Profiles tab appears.

  1. In the Profile tool box, click the Add button.
  2. In the Profile box, type a name that makes it easy to identify the Customer Group.
  3. Select the Add Base Service button.

The Base list appears.

  1. Select the base or package wash for this Profile, and the click the OK button.
  2. Select the Add Extra Service button.

  3. Click to select any extra service to include in this Profile.

  4. After all extra services are selected, click the OK button.

  5. Click the Save button.
A Confirm message "This profile is not enabled do you want to enable it at this site" appears.

  6. Click the Yes button.

  7. The message "Profile saved successfully" appears, click OK.

  8. Locate the Customer Group, and click to select it.

  9. In the Schedule tool box, click the Add button.

    A blank Schedule appears.
NOTE: If you cannot see the entire box, you can drag it around the screen if needed. Also, try clicking the hide Menu button to allow more room for the Schedule dialog box.

  10. In the Applies to box, select Customer Group.
This designates that this Profile and schedule applies to the Customer Group.

  11. In the Rule box, select the Customer Group that you created for this Profile.

NOTE: If the name of the Profile is the same or very similar to the name of the Customer Group, it should be fairly easy to find.

  1. After the Schedule is completely set up, click the OK button.

The message "Schedule saved successfully" appears.

  2.  To identify customer in the group, sites can use RFID tags affixed to the windshield. These would be entered into WashConnect just like a Club. Also, sites can use the License Plate to identify customers as well.

  3. After the WashConnect identifies that the customer is in a Customer Group, the Auto Sentry and Point of Sale automatically change to the priority Profile.

These instructions were for an Auto Sentry Profile. You will need to set up a Profile for a Group for a Point of Sale (POS) system.

The only difference would be to select POS under Device Type when first creating the Profile.
