Search for a Customer

Users can search for any customer via the Manage Customers tab in WashConnect. The search filters allow the user to narrow the criteria to view more specific results and also to provide a way to sort customers.

NOTE: The override can be set up for when the user attempts to enter something into the customer search, RFID, and license plate fields on the POS. This does not affect the customer search that is located on the Manage Customers page.

  1. On the Customers menu, select Manage Customers.

The Manage Customers tab appears.

 

  1. In the Rule box, click to select one or more Rule options from the list:

  1. In the In Field box, select one of the following fields that correlates to the Search field:
    • AccountID
    • Barcode
    • Credit Card
    • Customer
    • Customer Number
    • Email
    • Fleet Invoice
    • Fleet Prepaid
    • License
    • Phone
    • RFID       
    • VIN
  1. In the Status box, click to select one or more Status options from the list based on Customer Status, Rule Status, and Vehicle Status. 

NOTE: The Vehicle status will show NA for general and fleet customers if the vehicle does not exist and that the Vehicle status will show NA for club members because the membership status is the same as the vehicle status.

  1. In the Search box, type the item's name you are attempting to locate. When searching for an RFID tag, WashConnect will auto complete the entry based on what is being entered. Auto Complete eliminates typing errors and makes it faster to locate a customer's tag.
  1. Click the View button.
    Customer’s search results are displayed in a list format, and can be printed or exported to a file.
  1. Click to select a Customer's record which can be viewed, printed, or exported.
    The customer record will be highlighted.
