A car wash attendant needs to activate all Gift Card purchased through the ePOS web site so it is ready to use. 

To Activate a Gift Card, follow these steps:

1. At WashConnect logon, select Corporate.
2. On the Gift Cards menu,click ePOS Gift Cards.
3. Search for an ePOS Gift Card.

NOTE: To refresh your Gift Card purchases list, click the Search button.

4. From the Pending Purchases list, click to select a Pending ePOS Gift Card purchase.

5. Click the Activate button. 

6. From the Activate Gift Cards screen, select the Activate with Swipe button.

The message “Please Swipe the Card…” appears.

6. Locate and swipe a new gift card on the credit card reader.

   IMPORTANT: Do not lose the gift card -- it's same as cash! After the gift card is activated, you can not activate it again on another gift card.

If the swipe was successful, the Gift Card # appears in the Ready for Printing list to the right of the Pending Purchases list.

Click the Activate with Manual button, and type the gift card number into CAGE.

    NOTE: Click the Cancel button at any time to stop without activating.

Next, you will need to Print the Accompanying Letter.   

The activated card is in the Gift Card Database and marked with a status of Active.
