Why would you set up 5-digit wash codes?

For example, you have decided to offer a free wash or a discounted wash on their next visit for the first 100 customers at your grand opening. You can set up the 5-digit wash codes with any PLU at the site level. The 5-digit wash tickets are set up at the local site and redeemed at the local site only. They are ideal for Grand Openings promotions because they are site specific wash tickets. The 5-digit wash codes can be set up as paid or unpaid tickets with configured amount of days until expiration.

If customers give away free washes, create a Free Wash PLU, and then generate UNPAID tickets for them. In this way, the customer will not be asked for payment when they redeem the ticket even though its UNPAID.
