StackNControl

Stack Management is your central control center for the cars approaching the tunnel in the stack and those going through the tunnel. Car wash employees are able to quickly assign retracts to individual vehicles in the stack and in the tunnel as long as they have not passed the point of the service to be retracted. Customers may purchase another service while in the Stack or Pending. This feature is available to Cashiers and Presell Operators who are clocked in and are in an open Touch POS session. Stack Management can also be accessed at a Touch ES (Entrancement Management System). The Pending area is for the cars that pulled out of the stack before entering the tunnel which is available from the Stack Management menu only.

Stack Management can control up to two tunnels, each tunnel in their own Stack Management tab. From one Gate Management tab, you can view and edit both tunnels which are clearly identified.

NOTE: All features are fully supported with Tunnel Master® Jr. and Tunnel Master® wbc controllers. Not all features are compatible with controllers other than the Tunnel Master® Jr. and Tunnel Master® wbc.

Gate Management is the location in WashConnect where cars wait at the Auto Sentry before passing the gates and move to the stack. If vehicles are waiting here and the Auto Sentry is showing a Stop Sign, it could be that there are too many cars on the stack currently. WashConnect will allow cars to pass based on which lane purchased their wash first. ICS uses milliseconds to calculate who finished their transaction first. This ensures that no wash is bought at the same time. The number of cars found here is determined by the number of Stacking POS the site has. For example, if the site has two Auto Sentries and one Stacking POS, the Gate Management should only ever have three cars waiting.
