Create a Presell Ticket (Full-Service)

From the Touch Presell Terminal, you can add a new customer or edit an existing customer, and then add the customer's wash selections.

  1. To start WashConnect®, double-click the WashConnect icon on your desktop.
  2. On the Touch POS menu, click TouchPreSell.
  3. In the Greeter box, type the greeter’s name if different, and click the Enter key.

NOTES:

  • A Greeter must be logged in from the Time Clock menu, and the system retains the last greeter logged in by default.
  • Override Greeter of a Presell Ticket: After technical support sets up the override greeter feature, you can override the greeter of a presell ticket at the Touch POS. There is an Override Presell Ticket Greeter privilege under Touch POS/Open Shift.
  1. In the Plate box, type customer’s license plate number.

NOTE: A setting is available to require greeter to enter a license plate value with EVERY presell transaction that is finalized on that machine.

  1. If the vehicle has been here before, select the Customer.

The customer’s name and plate number appear in the lower right.

If the customer is a new customer, after typing license plate, click the Accept button. The message Plate not found appears. Select the New Customer button.

You can enter customer information now.

Click the Done button.

NOTE: POS Cashier can edit customer and vehicle information at a later time.

The greeter can now view the customer's last purchase history for wash services only and conveniently at the Preselll terminal only, and if the customer wants the same wash again, it will auto load.

  1. Select a sales item, do one of the following:

a.   Use the scroll buttons to select a sales Item.

b.   If you know the PLU number: in PLU/SKU box, type the sales item number.

c.   Select a profit center button from the left side (Express, Club, etc.), and then a submenu appears with the profit center’s specific sales item buttons available.

Sales items appear on the on-screen receipt.

  1. Remove a sales item, if necessary: From the on-screen receipt, click to select a sales item, and then click the Remove     button to clear.
  2. Click the Presell button.

The presell ticket prints with a barcode that the customer can take to the cashier to cash out the sale.

 

Add a 2nd Club Vehicle to an existing Customer at Touch POS – if customer wants to be autobilled to the same customer account, do not enter a PreSell ticket. Instead, the cashier must ring the entire sale at the Touch POS.

Add a 2nd Club Vehicle to an existing Customer at the PreSell terminal – This is only available if your wash has already created a Sales Item PLU to be entered at the PreSell terminal. This 2nd Club Vehicle PLU would be setup to charge for the first month’s fees.

 

NOTE: There is a Free Wash/Rewash setting on the Presell terminal so the Presell ticket can be scanned on the POS and a Free Wash/Rewash can be applied to that Presell ticket.
