In WashConnect, you have three different lengths of wash codes: 5-, 6-, or 9-digits. The TicketGen button is used to create wash codes for both paid tickets and presell (unpaid) tickets. When generating Paid tickets, a new shift is created for the payment of the tickets.
Wash Codes can be paid at the time of ticket generation or Wash Codes can be unpaid and the customer can enter Wash Codes and be prompted to pay for a wash at the Auto Sentry or POS. Wash Codes are unique and once redeemed, are no longer valid in the WashConnect system. Wash Codes can be linked to Presell or Paid transaction types in WashConnect.
Ticket Generation for 6- and 9-digit Wash Codes
From the local site or Corporate Touch POS, you can generate paid 6- or 9-digit wash codes that are valid to redeem at the local site or all of your wash sites paid or unpaid.
At Corporate, you can generate unpaid 6-digit wash codes that are valid to redeem at all of your wash sites.
Common Practices: Many customers who want to give away free washes will create a ‘Free Wash’ PLU and then create UNPAID tickets for them. In this way, the customer will not be asked for payment when he redeems the ticket even though it is UNPAID.

Fuel Wash Tickets
(5-digit wash codes only)
The 5-digit Wash Code can only be created at the local site and redeemed at the local site for paid or unpaid tickets.
If your facility is tied to a fuel station, you may be configured to have customers pay for their wash at the pump. A fuel device at the wash directly communicates with the fuel computer located at the gas station, either by direct cable or over the internet via VPN.
