The POS Profile is used to schedule sales items to be sold at the Touch POS or Presell terminals for a retail profiles only. With a POS Profile, you can easily turn off a specific Profit Center such as Hand Finished Services if Hand Finished Services is closed. This will adjust the sales items that can be sold at the Touch POS or Presell terminals.

NOTE: Only use the POS Profile to create retail POS Profiles.

1. On the Configuration menu, select Goods and Services, and then select POS Profiles.

The list of all existing POS Profiles appears.

2. Click the Add button.
3. In the Profile box, type the name of the new POS Profile.
4. In the Device Type box, select either POS or Presell.
5. In the Device box, from the Device list, then select one or more devices that apply.
6. Expand the Assign Sales Item node.

All Sales Items are selected by default, and you can deselect the entire Profit Center or specific PLU Sales Items by their PLU number.

7. Click OK.
8. Click the Save button.

The message Profile saved successfully appears.

However, the Profile needs a valid schedule before it will take effect.

 NOTE:  In settings, you can select if Touch POS profiles would be honored during Free Wash Rewash functions
