Welcome to the Touch POS sales transaction screen.
NOTE: In order to use the Touch POS sales transaction screen, you need to Open a Shift.
WashConnect keeps track of the cash accurately and easily. If you physically move cash, outside of sales transactions, a computer entry needs to document the movement of cash.
There are four POS cash management action tools, and they will automatically add a journal entry for the shift register. (Keep in mind all actions are in the safe's perspective.)
- Open Shift
- Count the money before you open your shift and drawer.
- Auto Verifies.
- Add
- Remove Cash from Drawer and Add this money to the Safe
- Remove
- This action tracks money when Removed from Safe and Added to the register drawer.
- It is assumed you have counted the money as you removed it from the safe; therefore, the system auto verifies it.
- Close Shift
Tip It’s very important to for your supervisor to manually Verify these Journal entries during the shift because it’s more complicated to make any corrections after you have closed the shift.
An inactivity time logoff feature can be enabled to lock the Touch POS if no activity is going on. You can hide buttons not in use on your Touch POS, such as Void, Stack, Refund, RFID, ROA, Payout, and TicketGen.
