Add Marketing Email

Add and schedule Marketing Correspondence Email. You can also View, Edit or Delete.

  1. From the WashConnect logon, select Corporate.
  2. From the Configuration menu, select Marketing Email.
  3. In View, select the As List or Calendar.

You can view the saved Marketing Emails in a list or on a Calendar.

  1. Click the Add button.                                                                                            
  2. In Name, type the name of the Marketing Email that you want to send.
  3. In Starts On, select a date to send the email.
  4. In Send At, select a time to send the email.
  5. In Repeat check box, select to repeat this email.

A Repeat pop-up box appears.

In the Repeat dialog box:

  1. In Frequency, select Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly
  2. In Repeat every, select an amount of days to repeat this email. Monthly (1 = monthly), Yearly (2 = once every two years)
  3. In Starts On, displays the first date available to send your email.

NOTE: The Starts On date is selected when adding a new Marketing Email prior to selecting the Repeat box.

  1. In Ends, select one of the following: Never - this repeated email will repeat indefinitely. On - select a date to end the repeated email.
  2. Review the Summary to make certain that setup is correct.
  3. Click Done

In Ticket Items section:

  1. Click the Add Sales Item button for Sales Item PLU for this promotional email. If you are not creating a ticket as part of the promotional email skip to the second part of step 18.
  2. In Profit Center, select the profit center.
  3. Select all the necessary sales item boxes.
  4. Click the OK button.
  5. In Type of Ticket box, select one of the following:

▪        Unpaid

▪        Paid

  1. In Ticket Expiration, type in an amount of days for this email to be valid.

In Correspondence Information section:

The keywords show the fields that will automatically populate in the email based on the selected Sales Items and Groups.

  • Customer's First Name
  • Customer's Last Name
  • Ticket Number
  • Barcode of Ticket Number

In Type box, select Email.

  1. In Send To box, select All -or- individual type check boxes.
  2. In Subject, type a subject line. (Max. 78 Characters)
  3. In Body, type the body of your message. Use the editing toolbars to format the body of the email.
  4. Click the Save button.

This promotional email will automatically generate and send the ticket number and the bar code to all recipients included in the selected Customer Groups on the selected date and time.

You can see the Active communication listing.  Check marks show the active communication listing.  An X shows a Communication listing that has already passed.
