Add Vehicle for Non-Club Customers

After adding a customer, a vehicle can be added to the customer. Multiple vehicles can be tied to an individual customer record.

  1. On the Customers menu, select Manage Customers.
  2. Search for a customer.
  3. Select a customer record.

Double-click to select the customer record.

The Customer Information, Vehicle Information, and Customer Group(s) tabs open.

  1. Click the Add Vehicle button.
    The Vehicle dialog box appears.

  1. In the  State, select a state where the car is licensed.
  2. In the *License box, type the customer's license plate number (*this is the only required vehicle field).
  3. If necessary, in Site box, select a site. (This is for club membership.)

NOTE:  Users must be in a Security Role that has permission to change the Site for a Customer and Vehicle.

  1. In the Make, Model and Year boxes, type in vehicle information. Word complete predicts the word a user intends to enter after only a few characters have been typed into the Make, Model or Year boxes. An offered selection can be accepted at any time.
  2. In the Color box, type the color of the vehicle.

NOTE: Club Customers Only, see Add Vehicle for Club Customer.

  1. Click the OK button.
  2. Click the Save button.
  3. Next, you can add any other available customer information, or add customer to a group.
