The Action column for any journal shows what activity occurred for the journal entry. The following table describes each of the possible descriptions that can appear in the Action column.

The beginning balance of a specific component, i.e. Bill Acceptor, in a device for that shift.

Beginning Bank
|
The beginning bank of the shift for a device.

Convert

Indicates a journal used to convert currency (Safe to Bank or Bank to Safe).

Deposit
|
Amount of money deposited to the bank.
|
|
Ending Bank
|
The ending bank of the shift for a device.
|
|
Ending Balance
|
The ending balance of a specific component, i.e. Bill Acceptor, in a device for that shift.

|
Modify Dispenser
|
A journal action that is marked as edited.
|
|
Remove
|
Amount of money removed from a device.
|
|
Verify
|
Journal entry has been verified by the user.
