Profit Centers

Profit Centers are beneficial to tracking and reporting the success of each of your Profit Centers.  The profit centers track income and labor for all goods and services sold in each of your Profit centers.

To understand the big picture of profit centers, imagine they are like containers for the different areas of your car wash where revenues and expenses are determined separately, and profitability is measured.  Then the individual profit center totals roll up to your Facility Totals.

For example, you might want to view the Conveyor as a profit center separate from Hand Finish Services.

For a full-service example, you can easily view your site's performance via your profit centers, by breaking down the expenses and revenues generated by the individual parts themselves. Keep track of your total revenue generated in the conveyor profit center vs. the labor cost and compare that number with the revenue generated in the hand service profit center vs. labor cost.

By managing profit centers, you can view them in reports to help determine which areas of the car wash are operating efficiently, and which ones are lagging in terms of sales objectives and labor performance.
