To add a Profit Center, follow these steps:
- From the WashConnect® logon screen, click to select Corporate, and then click the Log On button.
- From the System Setup menu, select Profit Centers, and then select Manage Profit Centers.
- In Profit Center, click to select a parent Profit Center for the new Profit Center.
- Click the Add button.
The Profit Center Description dialog box appears.
- In the Name box, type a name for the profit center.
- In the Description box, type a description for the profit center.
- In Performance, click to select the Performance check-box if you want to collect performance statistics for the profit center.
- In Parent, the Parent Profit Center will be displayed.
- In Wage Eligible box, click to select if the profit center is Wage Eligible.
- In Department, type a department name. Gas pump inventory item needs to be configured as a Department PLU.
- In Device, click to select the list, and then select one or more devices that report transactions and performance statistics to the profit center.
- Click the Save button when you are finished.
The profit center is saved.
