Cascade Pricing

Increase the frequency with repeat visits to the car wash by offering cascade pricing that rewards the customers with discounted pricing for returning to the wash within a certain time period.

Cascading pricing allows Sales Item PLUs to be setup so when a customer purchases a particular service or product, the price of that service or product will change according to how many times it has been purchased during a defined period of time.

There are two independent customer tracking systems within WashConnect for Frequency or Cascade Pricing Promotions:

  • Touch POS: Cascade Pricing for wash services applicable only at the Touch POS Express, In-Bay, and Full-Service profit centers. 

    When the customer first visits your wash and purchases a wash that is set up with Cascade Pricing, the customer can receive the promotion on their receipt. At the bottom of the receipt it states they can receive $X off if they return within X amount of days to the car wash and purchase the same wash. 

-or-

  • Auto Sentry: Frequency Promotion for a wash service applicable only at the Auto Sentry payment terminal.

If customers visit the wash at the Auto Sentry within the amount of days stated on the wash receipt, the customer may enter the wash code and the pricing will adjust for their transaction. If they visit the wash at the Touch POS, the customer tracking system in WashConnect displays the available promotions that each customer is eligible for and can apply to their transaction.
