Prorated Club Example

In this Prorated club example, a $30 wash club is sold within a 30-day month.

The customer would be charged the decremented prorated purchase price until you reach a date where the floor price (minimum price) will be charged for the rest of the initial month.

This means that every day the prorated price will decrement $1 per day because $30 / 30 days = $1 per day.  The base wash price of the club is $11.

  • If a wash club customer initially purchases the $30 wash club on the 2nd of the month, the customer would be prorated and charged $29.
  • If a wash club customer initially purchases the $30 wash club on the 5th of the month, the customer would be prorated and charged $26.
  • If a wash club customer initially purchases the $30 wash club on 20th through 30th of the initial month, the customer would be prorated and charged the minimum Floor Price of $11.
