The No Tax button is set up for situations when the customer will not need to be charged tax. Customer needs to have documentation stating that they can avoid sales tax. You should make a copy of this document and keep on file for tax reporting purposes.

1. Log on to WashConnect® from the car wash site level.
2. On the Touch POS menu, open the sales screen (Open Shift), and then select a Greeter.  
3. Select the customer's sales items.
4. Click the No Tax button.

The sale will ring up with no sales tax added.

5. Click the Finalize button.
6. Make a copy of the tax free document and file it for tax purposes.
