Edit a Time Clock Stamp

Managers or Users with Time Clock privileges can edit Time Clock stamps for employees from the Edit Time Clock menu. If a user does not have the Edit My Time Clock privilege, the user will not be able to edit their own time clock entry in WashConnect.

NOTE: Within the Security Role Privileges, you can specify the amount of days a user may go back into the past to edit time clock records.  See Edit Time Clock Privilege.

  1. On the Time Clock menu, click Edit Time Clock.
  2. In the Search Records section, you can set the following search parameters: Start Date, End Date, Site, and Employee.
  3. Click the View button.

The Employee search results appear in the Time Clock list.

  1. Click to select a Time Clock entry to edit, and then click the Edit button.

The Edit Time Clock tab appears with the selected Time Clock entry.

  1. Make necessary changes for the following editable fields:
  • Punch Type
  • Start Date
  • Start Time
  • End Date
  • End Time
  • Profit Center
  • Department
  • Commission Position
  1. Click the Save button.
  2. If you want to delete the Time Clock entry, click to select the entry, and then click the Delete button.
