Performance

The Performance menu in WashConnect® assists owners and managers in making adjustments to staffing and hours of operation when necessary based on sales and business trends.  The various reports located under Performance can lead to insight about how your business is performing and can result in improved profitability.

WashConnect Performance can assist in guaranteeing your customers receive the speed of service and quality you intended within the costs that are budgeted.

Staffing in the car wash industry is about maximizing the return on your labor investment... not just cutting labor.

Inadequate staffing can cause:

  • Long lines
  • Drive-offs
  • Pool quality service

All three of these problems can result in lower sales, however, too much labor can also have a negative impact on the bottom line.  Whether you have an Express Exterior, Full-Service, or Flex-Service, specific labor requirements can be set for your particular business model.

You also have the flexibility to manage separate profit centers—whether they are part of the wash itself, such as the wash tunnel and the hand finished services area—or whether they are separate from the wash, such as a quick lube or convenience store. The Performance menu can show multiple profit centers and multiple facilities.

By using reports such as the Vehicle Performance Report and Statistical Comparison Report, you can view labor costs for specific profit centers and compare them to different time periods.  Viewing the labor breakdown of individual profit centers can be used to see where labor is being utilized effectively which can assist in showing how well employees are delivering the quality of service your customers expect.

Projection

Inbay Uptime

The Projection report is used to adjust staffing to ensure it is aligned with the demand at the wash.  It allows the user to see if their targeted labor cost KPI is accurate and if the employee man hours that are setup align with the amount of business that is being done at the site to assist in making decisions on how to staff the wash in the future.

The In-bay Uptime report shows the uptime and downtime of an In-bay Automatic based on the selected time frame.  Uptime and downtime is listed as an actual amount and a percentage.   (This menu is only available if an Inbay Automatic is configured at a site.)
