Financial Overview Example

The Financial Overview report is versatile for streamlining the steps required to close the books on a given day. Unlike other point-of-sale systems where you need to open and close one report after another to compare totals, the Financial Overview report puts all your information in one place. This makes the Financial Overview Report unlike any other POS system report.

You can look at totals for credit cards, fleets, and clubs at a glance. You can then click any underlined total in the report to open a more detailed report in a new tab.

You can easily switch back and forth between tabs to prove out the numbers. The Financial Overview report was designed with your productivity in mind. The idea is to improve your efficiency, so you can resolve a day.

For example, if you want to look at just your credit cards for yesterday, you can click the Credit total to see the underlying Credit Cards report with the data that proves this total on the Financial Overview Report.

After you click on the underlined credit card total, you can view the source document for this amount.

In this example, double-click on the yellow highlighted amount above to view the following underlying report.
