The Report Default Date menu is a time saving feature.

After you set a custom date or select a standard preset date, then any report when opened will have this date already preselected for you. 

Custom Dates:

• Set Date Range

Standard Preset Dates:

• Today
• Yesterday
• Current Pay Period
• Last Pay Period
• Month to Date
• Last Month
• Year to Date
• Last Year

The dates for reports will not change unless you select another date from this menu, or save parameters from an individual report.

Sometimes you can identify business trends with information from longer periods of time - a week, month, etc. The Set Date Range function allows you to set a date range consistently across all of your reports.
