You can access the Service Unit screen to add and remove money from the bill dispenser(s) or coin hopper(s); remove money from the bill or coin acceptors; and verify the coin hoppers.
When adding or removing money from the Auto Sentry service unit screen, the actions will be in respect of the
Auto Sentry. There are up to five Auto Sentry cash management action tools available for the shift register:
Add— count the money in a secure room before you place the bills in the Auto Sentry bill dispenser, and coins/tokens in the coin dispenser.
Remove— withdraw bills from the Auto Sentry bill acceptor. Empty selected coin hopper and get a count of coins collected.
Verify— Verify physical cash against what the service unit screen shows.
Close Terminal— Close the current terminal upon exiting the Service Unit screen. Selecting this option will enter the Auto Sentry device into a closed state where no transactions can be performed, and the message Car Wash Is Closed on the touch screen of the Auto Sentry.
IMPORTANT: It is very important for your supervisor to manually Verify these Journal entries during the shift because it’s complicated to make any corrections after you have closed the shift.
The Auto Sentry Service Unit Screen can be used to perform all Cash Management operations for the Auto Sentry components. By default, Auto Sentry Devices are set up to use the Safe; therefore, all journal entries will be verified by selecting the Safe device under Cash Management Journals.
