Prerequisite: Prorating is honored only if a club service is set up to autobill memberships on the first day of the month and prorating is enabled in the WashConnect settings.

This is how it works....When a customer initially purchases a club membership, prorating adjusts the first month of their membership depending what day of the month they initially purchased the club, and their monthly expiration date will be moved to the first day of the next calendar month. Upon the renewal of the club, the customer is charged the full amount of the club and their expiration date is moved forward based on the duration of the club. However, if prorating is not enabled they will be billed the full club amount.

Customers can be informed of the prorated purchase price on the club wash buttons on the purchase club wash screen.

To enable Prorating Clubs:

1. Open WashConnect, in the Region(s) panel, select Corporate, region, or the local site, and then click the Log In button.
   NOTE: When logged in at the Corporate location, the entire Corporate structure will be available. When logged in at a site level, only that site will be available for selection.

2. Select System Setup > Devices > Settings.

3. In the Device Type box, select Global.

4. In the Device Name box, select Device Name.

5. In the Settings Type box, select GlobalConfiguration.

6. In the Settings box, select Clubs.

7. In the Prorate Clubs box, select True.
   
   

To define which Club Services are Prorated:

1. Open WashConnect, in the Region(s) panel, select Corporate, region, or the local site, and then click the Log In button.
   NOTE: When logged in at the Corporate location, the entire Corporate structure will be available. When logged in at a site level, only that site will be available for selection.

2. Login WashConnect at the Corporate level.

3. Select Configuration > Club Services.

4. Locate and click the Edit button.
   -or-
   Click the Add button to create a Club Service.

5. In the Floor Price box, enter the Floor Price. This should be the lowest price a customer would pay for this membership when sold at the end of the first month.

6. In the Club Rules area, in the Billing Day box, select First Day.

Prorating is enabled and the above instructions have been completed for the club services and will be available at all your wash sites. The prorated value automatically appears on the customer’s club wash buttons on the ICS payment terminal screen.
