Prorating Clubs

A Club can be set up with Billing Day on the First Day of the month and be set up to prorate. Prorating allows a customer purchasing a club to pay a prorated price for the remainder of the month and move their expiration date to the first of the next month. Upon renewal of the club, the customer is charged the full amount of the club and their expiration date is moved forward based on the duration of the club.

A site could have prorated and non-prorated clubs that they are selling at the same time. The prorated value is now available to automatically appear on the customer’s club wash buttons on the Auto Sentry screen.

NOTE: If a club is renewing at either the Auto Sentry or Touch POS, there are two other settings that can be configured based on how your site would like to renew the club and move the expiration date:

  • First Day - Used exclusively for clubs configured for billing on the first day of the month, with club prorating enabled:
    • Expired Date- the customer will be charged the full price of the club.
    • RenewalDate- the customer will be charged the prorated club price.
  • Signup Day - Determines how to advance the expiration date of a club renewal:
    • ExpiredDate - Expiration date advanced from the date the club expired.
    • RenewalDate- Expiration date advanced from the date the club was renewed.

RenewalDate- the customer will be charged the prorated club price.
