To add a Profit Center, follow these steps:
- From the WashConnect logon screen, click to select Corporate, and then click the Log On button.
- Select System Setup > Profit Centers > Manage Profit Centers.
- In the Profit Center panel, click to select a parent Profit Center for the new Profit Center.
- Click the Add button.
The Profit Center Description dialog box appears.
- In the Name box, type a name for the profit center. (Required to Add a Profit Center)
- In the Description box, type a description for the profit center.
- In the Performance box, click to select the Performance check-box if you want to collect performance statistics for the profit center.
- In the Parent box, the Parent Profit Center will be displayed.
- In the Wage Eligible box, click to select if the profit center is Wage Eligible.
- In the Department box, you can assign Accounting departments for each site in your corporation.
NOTE: WashConnect Accounting features are not unlocked by default and require an additional fee, please contact ICS if you would like to use this feature.
- Click the Save button when you are finished.
The profit center is saved.
