Safe Requirement

It is highly recommended by ICS to use an on-site safe and enable the safe in WashConnect to accurately track
your cash on hand while preventing mistakes and theft.

Since you have an on-site safe, all the safe actions are made from the perspective of the Safe. Rule of thumb, if you are moving cash from one place to the next, you need to select an action in the Journal in order to track the money. The following are six safe actions:

• Add from Bank
• Add from Other Source
• Convert Currency
• Deposit to Bank
• Remove to Other Source
• Verify Safe

NOTE: By not having a safe activated, all actions are assumed to go directly to and from the Bank and not to an on-site safe.
