Sites can define the next billing day for customers purchasing a club membership with the Billing Day setting. Changing this setting will not immediately affect current members of that club but will go into effect after the customers next billing day.
To select a Club Service Billing Day:
- Open WashConnect.
- Select Configuration > Goods and Services > Club Services.
- In the Billing Day box, select one of the following options:
-

First Day
This setting sets the next billing day for a customer as the first day of the next calendar month, regardless of whether the club was purchased on the 1st or the 25th of the month.
Due to this, any site that wants to use this method must first enable Proration within WashConnect settings and set the Floor Price field within each club service to the lowest amount they would want to sell the club service for, if the club is being purchased on the 30th or 31st of the month.
-
Signup Day
This setting sets the next billing day for the same date as the initial purchase date. This billing day won’t change if the customer renews their membership after the expiration date.
Due to this, a Grace Period should be defined for each club membership that will have Signup day configured. Grace Period defines how many days a customer can still use their membership after their expiration date has passed. The exact value for this setting is up to the discretion of the car wash's business manager.
-
Renewal Day
This setting sets the next billing day as the same date as the initial purchase date. This billing day will change if the customer renews their membership after the expiration date.
There is no need for setting up Proration or Grace Periods, in addition, this setting is generally the easiest for club customers to understand and accept.
